Our Story
Raw Knowledge is a specialist data provider and consultant under the Industrial Thought group of companies.
Raw Knowledge began life as part of sister company Financial Software Ltd (FSL). Its team helped identify the need to improve industry access to quality ERI data and provided this to FSL’s CGiX customers.
As the team, customer base and capabilities grew, Raw Knowledge separated from FSL in 2024 to begin offering its own solutions and services. Today, Raw Knowledge provides the most comprehensive ERI data in the market and offers expert-led end-to-end data consultancy.
By unlocking the full power of financial data, Raw Knowledge want to help the financial services industry become more agile, insightful and open.

Managing Director
Preya is the former Head of Data at FSL. She has over 25 years’ experience in the finance industry, having previously worked in the pensions and insurance sector.
Preya graduated in International Business with a Diploma in Modern Languages. She has a Certificate in Investments and recently completed the Institute of Directors’ Certificate in Company Direction, passing with an overall distinction.

Corporate Actions Team Lead
Shamsul has over 17 years’ experience in the financial sector. He joined the Raw Knowledge team as part of FSL in 2023, having previously worked on corporate actions at HSBC.

ERI Team Lead
Shrity has over ten years’ experience researching, checking and collating market data. She rejoined Raw Knowledge’s sister company, FSL, in 2022 following a brief career break to lead the ERI team.
